You've GOT to be kidding me.

As I watch the PM deliver his pre-election speech, I've discovered my WTF moment for the day from CTV (H/T to Aarons Beard):

"To be really honest, I anticipate a very nasty, kind of personal-attack campaign," he told Lloyd Robertson, CTV's chief news anchor and senior news editor, at Harrington Lake.

"That's just what I'm anticipating; that's what the opposition's done in the past. I think that whether Canadians agree with what we're doing or not, I don't think they're going to believe the kind of personal attacks and scare tactics that we've seen in the past."
Are. You. Kidding. Me?

This from the guy who's been running personal attack adds against the opposition leader since day 1? This from the guy who last year said that the Opposition party and it's leader cared more about the Taliban than Canadian soldiers.

Are those the kind of personal attacks you're referring to, Prime Minister Harper?

(UPDATE 10:03am: Harper just answered a question saying he doesn't feel a need to engage in Personal attacks, and that the Liberals don't want to talk about the Green Shift. Again, Mr. Prime Minister, what planet are you living on?)

Just loved it this a.m. when Harper said he 'presumed' Mr. Dion was a 'family man'. Good God this man has no morals.

I was waiting for someone to pipe up and ask: "What on earth does being a parent have to do with the ability to come up with policy and running a country?"

I was disappointed.
